Now & Forever

Real Wedding: Lacy + Bob

Lacy and Bob are quite possibly the sweetest people you will ever meet — and their wedding absolutely reflected that. Lacy and Bob were married in the walled courtyard of the historic Harper Fowlkes House on a beautiful, though chilly, day in March surrounded by 135 of their closest friend in family. Lacy was escorted down the aisle by her nephews to the sounds of a bluegrass quintet from New Arts Ensembles. The heartfelt ceremony, officiated by their close friend, brought the groom, and the guests, to tears. Following the ceremony guests took a quick trolley ride to the Georgia Railroad Museum where they enjoyed cocktails, corn-hole, a bowtie + cigar bar, and delicious southern bites before heading into the reception inside the historic Blacksmith Shed. Guests listened to the amazing jazz vocals of Trae Gurley while they feasted on beef short rib and local grouper. Following dinner and the cake cutting guests were lead to the Overnight Shed where, amidst the trains, they spent the next several hours dancing the night away to the music of THE DICKENS. Guests were then treated to a dessert + chocolate bar as well as late night chicken biscuits. The night ended with Lacy and Bob jumping on stage while singing “Country Roads” with the band, their family and friends.

This was without a doubt a wedding that we will never forget  and I am so honored to have been a part of it. Lacy and Bob we wish you a lifetime of joy and happiness!
