Genina Ramirez
Co-Owner and Planner

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Genina first began to take an interest in wedding coordination after working with her father, bridal wear designer Carlos Ramirez of Liancarlo. Sharing her father’s passion for design, she made the decision to leave Miami and move to Savannah, Georgia. There she attended the Savannah College of Art and Design, receiving a degree in Graphic Design. Having enjoyed being part of the bridal industry at an early age, she soon decided to pursue a career in wedding coordination in 2009.

Genina believes that every couple deserves to relax and enjoy their wedding day, regardless of whether they have 200 guests or just two. Her unwavering dedication and attention to detail, along with her design background make her an asset to both the company and your wedding.

Meredith Stroud
Co-Owner and Lead Planner

Originally from Marietta, Georgia, Meredith graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in Management, and in 2007, she made Savannah her home. However, it wasn’t until Meredith planned her own Savannah wedding that she decided to focus her career on the wedding and event planning industry. The ability to use her creativity and project management skills to create a day of celebration for family and friends ignited her passion for all things wedding. Meredith began working as an event planner in 2009, where she received on-site education and hands-on experience in event design, planning, and management.

Because Meredith was able to be a guest at her own wedding, she strives to make that a reality for every bride and groom through her calm demeanor, keen eye for detail, and precise event management.

Taylor Stubberfield
Lead Planner

Taylor and her groom moved to Savannah in 2011 and immediately fell in love with the city’s charming charisma and southern culture. As a native of Chicago, Illinois, she’s acquired valuable skills sought after in event planning: preparedness and timeliness. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication with a concentration on Organizational Communication from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois.

Taylor eagerly began her career in event planning mere weeks after moving to Savannah, and has naturally progressed to a lead planner. In addition to Taylor’s passion for planning, she brings the art of project management and personalization to each event. Taylor believes today’s bride has a creative vision and she takes pride in bringing that vision to life for the enjoyment of each bride, groom and guest alike.

Time to Get Crafty
March 15, 2018 | DIY Ideas, Wedding Inspiration

Looking for a way to add a special touch to your wedding? It is time to roll up your sleeves and get crafty!

For your ceremony recessional or send off, cut out pages from a copy of your favorite book, roll into a cone shape, and fill with flower petals of your choice. Wanting to add some extra sparkle to your wedding ensemble? Create a brooch bouquet out of your most treasured trinkets from your mother or grandmother’s jewelry box. One way to make your guests feel special is putting together welcome bags filled with an itinerary for the weekend, a map of the town highlighting restaurants and attractions, local goodies like a jar of honey or pecan pralines, and anything else you may think that your guests would enjoy. Need something to make your wedding day extra personal? Make unique place card holders out of unconventional items such as, tree branches or wine corks. Have fun getting crafty!

A Twist on Typical Centerpieces
January 16, 2018 | DIY Ideas, Wedding Inspiration

Not a big fan of flowers? There are many ways to style centerpieces without flowers that are just as visually appealing. You can bring a pop of color to your centerpieces by using different colored vintage bottles, variations of patinated candle sticks or a diverse collection of antiqued books. Do not want to completely eliminate the use of flowers? Consider using succulents or different types of greenery as an alternative that can add a natural touch to the centerpieces. Candles can help add warmth to the reception that can be displayed with antique candle sticks or centered in a lantern or birdcage.

Overall, non-floral centerpieces can still be eye catching with varying heights of accessories and different textures and colors. Have fun with styling the center of the tables for your reception and don’t forget to add any personal touches that will make your centerpieces even more special!
